Our premium (paid) software automatically contacts our servers and the server of Kernl to request information about the availability of updates and how to retrieve them. In order to make sure that the requesting site is eligible for updates, we may submit the site's URL and a license code. We also collect statistics about the PHP and WordPress versions and the used locale (language). These information helps us understand how we should develop future versions, where to focus documentation and support, and if update delivery is working.

You can choose to disable these update checks. In that case, however, you will have to check manually for updates (for example, follow our news) and download the latest version from the marketplace where you initially bought the package. Please remember that support is offered only for the latest available version.

In order to disable the update checks, add the following line into the wp-config.php file, anywhere above the line "/* That's all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */":

define('CM_UPDATE_CHECK', false );
